Jill Newton, MPA, PA-C

Jill Newton is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant and a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant who joined Virginia Eye Consultants in October, 2015. Her primary role involves providing preoperative physical exams for patients prior to their retinal, cataract, glaucoma, corneal and eyelid surgeries. Jill also performs allergy testing as related to eye diagnoses. Jill graduated with honors from Meredith College in Raleigh, N.C. and went on to study Clinical Laboratory Science at Duke University. She worked in the Blood Transfusion Service and reference lab for 7 years at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston before settling in Norfolk, Virginia.
