In Short
Choose from an arrangement of upscale pastries, sit back in a slightly tippy chair and wait a few minutes for some of the very best coffee in this coffee-filled city. This Capitol Hill cafe encourages community through a… Read Full Editorial

My Review by ryanp1079918833 via Citysearch on 4/21/2014

I could never get enough of the coffee from here. there are so many good blends and mixes to choose from and drinking their coffee makes me feel like someone else, like a celebrity or something.

great atmosphere and such a good quality coffee, I am so glad I found this place.

Bold Coffee by Sheila M. via KidScore on 8/31/2012

Not many kid friendly features although the staff is friendly and they have nice seats. The Coffee is excellent and they have a good selection of Yum...

Great Americanos by Amy M. via Judy's Book on 1/3/2012

If you like your espresso strong you'll like Victrola. They also have good scones.

great coffee shoop by Marcelo V. via Judy's Book on 12/8/2011

Nice little coffee shop

Ahhh, I'm glad I went there! by Giovanni D. via Judy's Book on 12/8/2011

I don't understand?! This is the best Cafe I have ever been to, why some bad reviews! Best coffee, best all around staff, and multi-seating style arrangments...I like the couch or outside lounge chairs as weather permits! Students have…

Like their coffee cake and coffee by Local E. via Judy's Book on 10/25/2011

Older urban crowd, good seating and space. Love their coffee and cakes. Favorite is the coffee cake. Not kid friendly.

So nice to look at, so gross to drink. by manhattan project via Citysearch on 2/11/2010

The weakest coffee I've ever had. Not sure how a four shot, 12 oz americano can be weak, but they manage to pull it off. The stores themselves are very nice; never really noticed if the staff is rude, slow, blah, blah...I go to coffee…

Victrola by Beryl G. via Judy's Book on 5/1/2009

The Broadway store - smoothest lattes in town, and that is saying a lot.

Victrola Coffee by Beryl G. via Judy's Book on 8/19/2008

Wonderful, smooth coffee, also sold in bulk. Uncomfortable chair. Fabulous cupcakes.

good coffee, slow & unfriendly service by shannongwolfe via Citysearch on 3/22/2008

victrola has very good coffee. the people who work there are unfriendly and way too-cool-for-school.

YUM! by meowmeowmeowmeow via Citysearch on 7/18/2007

Victrola is awesome - my favorite place to get tea (Burrough's Brew is the best!) and Mexican tea cookies. Their new location on Pike is nice, but very unwelcoming - they need to buy a couch; it's cold. But I frequently go to the one on…

nothing special by kimberlic via Citysearch on 2/18/2007

The coffee drinks are fine. The staff are your very average hipsters but nice if they bother to speak to you. They turn off their wifi on the weekend which is retarded. It's supposedly to promote conversation and community, but seriously -…

great coffee by kevin M. via Judy's Book on 2/7/2007

great coffee

Best coffee around, great atmosphere, if you like coffee this is the place by tourgee via Citysearch on 1/13/2007

Victrola roasts and serves coffees they buy from around the world. You can get the absolute best espresso in town here. Baristas are superb, atmosphere is excellent. Coffees include "cup of excellence" winners -- that is, the beans…

Excellent coffee! by tangotraveller via Citysearch on 10/29/2006

I'm pretty fusy about my coffee having been a barista myself, and Victrola consistently makes good drinks. When you want to show people what really good Seattle coffee tastes like, take them here. That said, when I was in a few days ago,…

Victrola Used to be Better by Ball-Romney D. via Judy's Book on 5/31/2006

I used to be one of those people who annoyed the owners by bringing a laptop to use the wifi which they used to have on all the time and haven't gone nearly as much when they started to curtail it. There seemed to be potential for good…

If you've never been to a pretentious coffee house...then Victrola is a must by Triple M. via Judy's Book on 5/27/2006

So i really enjoy good coffee and I was first drawn to Victrola because I had read about this new espresso machine company, Synesso, based in seattle and Victrola was one of the first cafes to install Synesso's 'uber' espresso machines…

Everything a Seattle coffeehouse should be by Iris F. via Judy's Book on 5/17/2006

Victrola has all the necessary components for an ideal coffeehouse experience: Great coffee drinks, a dark corner with sofas, a piano, sunny sidewalk seating, organic juices, rotating art exhibits on the walls, a bulletin board crammed…
