The Scene
The rustic wood-paneled walls sport paintings and photos of Theodore Roosevelt, which might seem random if you don't make the obvious connection. Teddy's caters to an over-30 clientele who come out for 50 cent pool,… Read Full Editorial
Best Local Bar in the Roosevelt/Greenlake Neighborhood! by kennedyp5 via Citysearch on 12/28/2007
Dan the owner opened Teddy's in the mid 80's has managed a balancing act of staying current without looking like he's trying. You can thank Dan's obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) for how clean and tidy the bar is. On every visit you…
Nice bar, good drinks. by furayar via Citysearch on 10/23/2007
Teddy's is a great neighborhood bar. The drinks are generous and they have specials. The atmosphere is relaxed. You can play pool, watch something on the big screen, or just have a drink and people watch.
Best bar owner ever! by colae via Citysearch on 7/19/2007
Dan, the owner, is the friendliest guy. There is not one bar tender or bar owner who has come close to the superior service he delivers. I used to work across the street and came in on occasion after work, the staff is alwas nice, and…
Best Quiet Weekday Bar by djkellsbells via Citysearch on 1/31/2007
Actually, Teddy's is my favorite place to go anytime. It's more like a home to me than it is anything else.
Overall.............. by moovoo via Citysearch on 12/17/2006
First off, the beer price is kind of steep for a dive bar. Secondly, the establishment is cheap and doesn't offer any "specials" on any beer on any given night. There is a full bar. \r

Miss it terribly by raber40 via Citysearch on 7/23/2006
My wife and I moved to Phoenix over a year ago. Over dinner last night we both were talking about our favorite bars back home in Seattle and we both came up with the same answer, Teddy's Tavern up the street from our old house... My…
Best Bar Owner by firearcher via Citysearch on 6/26/2006
Dan, the owner of Teddy's (he bought it from a guy named Teddy), is a really great guy with a good sense of humor. When my husband was teasing me one night, he asked Dan for the most "girlie" drink he could think of...I ended up with a…
Modest Local Bar by Jeff B. via Judy's Book on 9/26/2005
This is a very comfortable place to watch some sports on television or just grab a drink with a few friends. It has a friendly neighborhood atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks. Expect to pay around $12 for a pitcher. There are also…
Decent Neighborhood Hangout by Sarah J. via Judy's Book on 9/7/2005
Pretty decent place for being sort of central Ravenna / North Seattle area. A lot less UW crowd because it's a little beyond walking distance unless your on the edge of the UD. Pool, games, etc.
Laidback Tavern type by Brandi H. via Judy's Book on 8/20/2005
I never go out to bars late at night on a party night- can't stand the smoke and the jostling. But I really enjoy Teddy's on an afternoon . There's a jukebox stoked with the usual, beer on tap, a lowkey bar staff and best of all- 50cent…
