It’s both humbling and rewarding to serve as a patient advocate during one of the most vulnerable times in a patient’s life. I strive to be compassionate and empathetic with every patient. Helping individuals achieve their greatest level of wellbeing is important to me, so I treat each patient in a holistic manner by addressing their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs.

Nursing runs in my family, and I have many relatives who are registered nurses. I have a passion for oncology. It’s an interest that was ignited at a young age when seeing my younger sister go through chemotherapy.

I started my nursing career as an RN on the medical oncology inpatient floor here at ThedaCare. I administered chemotherapy, then had the opportunity to switch and see a different side of cancer treatment, radiation therapy. I also worked as a nurse practitioner in family practice before once again heeding the call to return to cancer care. This is where I truly belong.
