Need a negative 3 star catagory by buckystuff7942 on 7/18/2022 Contacted Adams early 2022 for installation of a whole home generator. All of the 'warm and fuzzy' claims about caring for the customer changed from feeling like a hot prospect to feeling like I was viewed as nuisance and just another issue to be dealt with at some point when it was convenient down the line for Adams the minute the contract was signed and deposit handed over. Poor communications from Adams did not improve the tone of the relationship from that point on.The mostly horrible support from the Gas Utility (WE Energies) did not improve relations between Adams and I. Not Adams problem directly, but more support from Adams would have gone a long way toward improving the situation.The second big disappointment from Adams came when installation day arrived. The 2 man installation crew clearly needed more experience at the task. It was an all day struggle to make the natural gas connection through the basement SO THAT THERE WAS NO GAS LEAK IN THE HOUSE. It was not an experience that built my confidence in or comfort level with the installation.Unfortunately there is quite a gap between the promotion and the reality at Adams. I think they should focus less on their grand visions and more on the nuts and bolts of electrical work and the like.MARC BUETTELL
