Brief History of Mark Miller Construction, LLC
• In 1978, Mark Miller started working construction with a small contractor, building custom homes in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN
• In 1981, Mark began self-employed construction work in Minneapolis, MN.
• In 1984, Mark Miller received an associate’s degree, with a business minor, from Bethel College, St. Paul, MN.
• In 1986, Mark Miller Construction, LLC moved to the beautiful rolling hills of Northwestern Wisconsin, just south of Grantsburg, WI, in Burnett County (just north of Polk County, WI), and continued remodeling and construction work.
• In 1988, two months are spent in Jamaica assisting with the rebuilding effort after Hurricane Gilbert.
• September, 2006 – May 2007, Mark Miller participated and graduated in the Polk Burnett Leadership Academy.
o Community development project, the development and publishing of a brochure that compiles information on organizations that work with affordable housing.
• Over the years, the family has grown, as has the business. Mark Miller Construction, LLC normally has 2-3 employees ready to work on your construction or remodel project.
