The owner of our Company; Brad Hocutt is a College Trained Property Maintenance Expert.

Brad was a Regional Trainer with Home Depot. He is also a Former Paint Store Manager.

In 1988 Brad Hocutt, The owner of Southern Exteriors merged a Landscape Business, an Outdoor Lighting Business and a Lawn Sprinkler Businesses into Southern Exteriors. Over the years Southern Exteriors has become a Full Service Property Maintenance Business.

Brad studied Building Construction in High School & started out in The Remodeling Industry. He has worked on both Residential & Commercial structures. Brad & 2 other men remodeled an Automobile Dealership & built 5 Houses from scratch including clearing the lots with Bulldozers.

During the Home Building years Brad went to School Nights/Weekends & became a College Trained Landscape/Irrigation Professional. He majored in Exterior Property Management & Landscape Technologies at Bessemer State Technical College (now Lawson State College). He majored in Business Administration at Jeff State Community College.

Brad & Southern Exteriors has worked with Thousands of Homeowners & Property Managers over the last 20 years. Some of the more Notable Properties/Projects include: Birmingham Southern Colleges “Olympic Soccer Field”, an 18 Hole Golf Course, a Home featured in Southern Living Magazine, Painting The "Historical Society" Old downtown "Loveman's Building" & The Interior Remodel & Painting of the "Historical Society" BT&B Bank Building.
