Howard Taylor, president and CEO of Bancless Loans, began his growing Valley business with a simple idea: Provide people with a way to their valuable assets to get affordable quick loans. A Bancless Loans office looks more like a bank than a classic pawn shop. Unlike a bank, though, they can immediately turn gold, silver, jewelry and more into fast cash based on the value of the asset, not a customer’s past credit history. Customers who need cash now can deposit a valuable asset and walk out with cash in hand—no credit check.

The company began in October 2012 with one office location. It has already added a second branch within the Metro Phoenix area and currently employs fifteen full-time people. Plans are to open a third location early in 2014.

Bancless doesn’t exist to gather and sell valued items. The company is designed specifically to help people who need cash now to meet short-term financial needs and to use their assets to better their quality of life.
