C Nak's El Loco Sports Grill

C Nak’s EL LOCO Sports Grill in Azusa is great authentic Mexican food with a big league sports grill feel. Owner Corey Nakatana fulfilled his dread of opening his own EL Loco after working at the original Manny’s Original El Loco as a teenager.

Most people will remember Corey Nakatani for his 10 Breeders Cup races and his 2nd place finish of the Kentucky Derby in 2011. Corey’s other achievements are winning the Kentucky Oaks twice, Lite Light in 1991 and Pike Place Dancer in 1996. He has multiple Grade 1 wins and multiple Santa Anita handicaps in California, also winning the Strub Stakes four times, including three consecutive running in 1999-2001 with Event of the year, General Challenge and Wooden Phone.
