This helluva brasserie mimics perfectly a posh Parisian brasserie at the turn of the twentieth century except for its Hollywoodian proportions often found in blockbuster movies. Allow a difference: this is Beverly Hills, not Montparnasse.… Read Full Editorial

Chef Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bakery provides quick and casual fare in the same building as his bistro Bouchon. The menu features assorted muffins and croissants, salads, sandwiches, cookies and signature bouchons.
Perfection by VeraWaitress via Citysearch on 5/24/2012
Shrimp cocktail with a dijonnaise, Leg of lamb, cheese course for dessert. Brilliant preparation, heightened flavors, acessible staff. Wow.
Over The Top But Sometimes Tasty by Stanley225 via Citysearch on 8/11/2010
If you want to spend the big bucks and pretend to know a lot about the cuisine (like all the servers do!) give it a try. There really isn't any French to speak of in the area and this comes with the backing of a pedigree chef (French…
A delicious meal! by VL57 via Citysearch on 6/25/2010
Had dinner at Bouchon in Beverly Hills last night. We didn't have a reservation and only waited for about five minutes or so before being seated on the patio.\r
The service was absolutely great; our server was extremely professional and…
Lovely room - disappointing food by TerryD via Citysearch on 4/13/2010
It's a lovely addition to the neighborhood, but the food is mediocre at best. The "half lobster" I ordered to start was, in fact, a miniscule-sized lobster tail, and a thoroughly scrubbed lobster shell/body. I know that fresh fish is…
Horrible food by shivad via Citysearch on 4/8/2010
The best part of dinner was sitting on the patio overlooking the garden - absolutely beautiful. Apart from that, nothing else was good. The steak was overcooked and the gnocchi was tasteless. The waitress saw that we had one bit of the…
the bistro that la needed by hugefoodie via Citysearch on 3/7/2010
ate at Bouchon the other night. couldn't get a reservation, but walked in and sat on the patio. it was cold, but there are heaters. absolutely delicious mussels, steak frites & french onion soup. it warmed my soul on a chilly night. …
overpriced wine, subpar food, weird space by 786LA786 via Citysearch on 2/26/2010
very easy to see thomas keller hands off policy at bouchon. food is not creative, heavy, salty and one of our friends got sick after eating there. cant believe how unfriendly the place is to people bringing wine. it is french food…
Very Disappointed! All Hype by Msussman3 via Citysearch on 2/12/2010
The short ribs all Fat, Butternut squash soup mediocre. Veiux Telegraph wine tasted like Hydrogen Peroxide. The bread lay flat on table ,no bread plates and crumbs everywhere. This was supposed to be our Valentines dinner. So my sweet…
Parisian Brasserie in Beverly Hills by gourmand via Gayot on 2/3/2010
We have to thank Mr. Keller for bringing his Bouchon to BH. Busy place and nice food, albeit on the expensive side. Must be Beverly Hills pricing, but still cheaper than flying to Paris!.
Best French Food in LA!! by JohnK518 via Citysearch on 2/1/2010
I'm surprised that some people have "expected" more, and didn't rate on the merits of the restaurant alone. The food is exceptional, the service above and beyond, and the location and decor are second to none. I've now had everything on…
high expectations.... by chancethegardner via Citysearch on 12/29/2009
There is something of a phenomenon of epic hysteria that preceeds the restaurants of "celebrity" chefs, or as they were formerly known, simply, michelin rated culinarians. Alas, no less than thomas keller, arrives, with epic fanfare and…
Citysearch Editorial Review by Charlie Amter via Citysearch on 12/28/2009
The smaller (and when we say smaller we mean much smaller) cousin of Thomas Keller's famed French restaurant is a smart stop for thirsty shoppers in Beverly Hills looking to escape the commercial madness of Canon Drive. This…
Citysearch Editorial Review by Mar Yvette via Citysearch on 12/8/2009
In the universe of big-name chefs, Thomas Keller reigns supreme. So it was no small news when, in late 2009, the man behind French Laundry--that famed temple of gastronomic nirvana in Yountville, California--finally brought Bouchon, his…
Fanstastic bistrot right in Beverly Hills by Howardmarks via Citysearch on 12/2/2009
This is one of the most original takes on French bistrot cuisine.\r
