Best hot sauce in town by FelipeE via Citysearch on 7/15/2011
I always go in the A.M., and Rico's has fantastic breakfast burritos. I really love their hot sauce, I think it is an exclamation point on an already great meal. This place has a following and is a regulars kinda place, it's that good.
NO LARD! by Rich C via Insider Pages on 8/3/2010
A "healthy" Mexican food restaurant, Rico's uses vegetable oil in place of lard. That said, it doesn't feel like you've gotten kicked in the gut after eating a burrito there. Many consider their hot sauce the best on earth, including…

This place is good. A little on the healthier side than other taco shops, but the salsa leaves more to be desired.
AMAZING Mex food! by Natalie L via Insider Pages on 3/25/2008
I love this place! My favorite item is the rice and cheese burrito with a ton of their perfectly spicy hot sauce. I also love their rolled tacos with fresh guacamole. Cheap prices- lunch for $5!

Rico's is the best. I love their staff, always willing to work even though it can get quite crowded. I usually order their bean chees rice and guacamole for around $4. It is very filling and is great with their wonderful house salsa. …
Good Mexican Food by Erin K. via Judy's Book on 9/24/2005
Very casual taco/burrito shop. The food is good and I don't think they don't use lard in their food. But it can take awhile for them to make the food. You can call ahead if you know what you want.
Rico's Taco Shop is mexican for perfect by Cody M. via Judy's Book on 8/19/2005
I had the pleasure of visiting Rico's Taco Shop for lunch one afternoon. The inside of the resturant didn't look the best - but their food made up for it. I ordered the two cheese enchalada combo with rice and beans. The sauce on the…
