Long K. Hua, MD

Growing up in Vietnam, Dr. Hua has always had high regard for family and helping others. Watching his grandmother struggle with chronic illnesses and observing the important role the physician held was inspiration for Dr. Hua to choose a career in medicine.

It is very clear that Dr. Hua’s mission is to serve his patients. Whether that is treating patients for ailments, providing advice and referrals, listening to his patients’ concerns or serving as a resource, Dr. Hua is 100% committed to his patients. As an internal medicine physician, he is able to treat patients of all ages and provide life-long support.

The focus of Dr. Hua’s patient care philosophy is collaboration – he believes that it is imperative to have shared decision making when it comes to treating his patients and working as a team to achieve the best results. He states, “I treat my patients like family. I take the time to listen and formulate a plan specific to each patient’s needs.”

Dr. Hua attended medical school at University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, California. He is fluent in English and Vietnamese and well suited to serve a diverse population.

When not working at the office, Dr. Hua enjoys fishing and origami.
