Elva C. Gonzalez is the reason Mami's Floral Boutique exists. The shop is her legacy, her memory, and her honor. Elva who recently passed away at the age of 84 was an entrepreneur with a love for flowers and she was passionate about flower until her last days. She opened her first flower shop about 40 years ago. Elva showed her daughter and her granddaughter, Claudia, how to make and sell flower arrangements. Claudia was raised in the flower industry from the age of 5.
