Dr. Paul Fjeldsted heads the Michels Family Dental office on University Avenue in La Mesa. He and the rest of the Michels Family team share a passion for providing patients with the highest quality of dentistry in a comfortable and family orientated environment. Dr. Fjeldsted received his training from the University of Southern California Dental School and completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. His training in biomimetic dentistry allows him to use the latest technology to implement conservative and preventative procedures. His goal is to establish a relationship of trust with all of his patients by understanding their individual needs and expectations. He is well versed in the plethora of services offered by Michels. From porcelain veneers to dental implants, Dr. Fjeldsted can do it all. Though he was raised in the San Francisco bay area, Dr. Fjeldsted is really a Southern Californian at heart. An avid surfer, he enjoys catching waves any chance he gets. Dr. Fjeldsted enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys playing the guitar, snowboarding, biking, and cheering on USC football.
Dr. Fjeldsted is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the San Diego Dental Society.
