Serving California s Central Valley and neighboring areas since 1978, Layman Electric, Inc is a full service electrical contractor specializing in commercial construction, design/build projects, and residential remodels. We perform work on jobs of all sizes, seeking to efficiently design and install excellent and reliable electrical systems for our customers.
To best service our customers, we also offer a comprehensive service department for residential and commercial clients, committed to maintaining our clients electrical needs with quality and integrity.
Layman Electric, Inc was established by Phil Layman, with his wife Darleen assisting him in the early years. They worked out of their garage until 2000 when they purchased a warehouse and moved to their current location at 1628 Culpepper Avenue in Modesto. Phil remains active in the business and is aided in the day-to-day management by two of his sons, Eric and Jeff.
