Claim Jumper's extensive menu offers oversize portions of American fare including baby-back ribs, pastas, pizzas, burgers, steaks and seafood.

Ok food, horrible service by missm6 via Citysearch on 10/4/2009
A few friend and I took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner. The food was ok, but the reason I'll never go to this restaurant again was the server. She was consistently rude, and frankly I (and everyone else at the table) didn't…
Gold mining and dining unite at this kitschy all-American eatery. by Nancy Hunter via Citysearch on 6/21/2008
In Short
Established in 1977, the Claim Jumper draws families, seniors and professionals with a mix of Old-West decor and a reliable menu of American classics. Logs, corrugated tin, rock and warm fireplaces embellish the unique…
Learn moderation... by anekab via Citysearch on 11/26/2007
The first time I visited a Claim Jumper, my sister knowingly let me order an appetizer...a salad...AND an entree...this was AFTER I had already ordered a large Red Tail Ale. Needless to say...I've learned the concept of moderation at this…
Best Beef Ribs...Best Bang For Your Buck by Mark G via Insider Pages on 7/4/2007
Claim Jumpers have the best beef ribs in all of L.A. hands down. It looked like they were hauling out a Flinstone size portion, as one order was defiantly enough for two people....I do though like Tony Roma's when it comes to their pork…
Ribs by Edwin D via Insider Pages on 11/28/2006
Not a bad place to eat ribs but I prefer Tony Roma's. The barbecue sauce is much better at Tony's plus the wait is not as long as Claim Jumpers. Expect a 30-40 minute wait during dinner time (6-8 PM) as it gets crowded at times. The salad…
Great Food but horrible Bar tenders! by rkhangura via Citysearch on 10/27/2006
I love food here and they have a great happy hour, but I have gone twice and both times the drinks were aweful. THis is isn't just coming from me, my Husband also agreed that the drinks were way too watered down and not in a good way.
huge portions by pruittlashawn via Citysearch on 8/7/2006
I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I wish there was one in L.A. The portions are huge and the prices are pretty moderate. The mozzerella sticks are great, the produce bar is always fresh and the dessers (especially the cream cheese pie) are to DIE for.…

The wait to be seated was over an hour. We waited at a table by the bar. And drank way over priced drinks. We were told we were able to order appitizers. So we just stuck to those. But then when noticed at the bar three feet away a man…

Too busy, too expensive... by dsbrooks via Citysearch on 11/14/2004
Long wait to eat. Long wait to order. Long wait for food. Distracted waitress. Food was OK, portions were humongous but I guess I expected more for a dinner for 3 @$90 (with 2 glasses of wine, no appetizer and no deserts).
