Trevor A. Whitwell, MD

Dr. Trevor A. Whitwell is a board-certified UCI Health anesthesiologist who specializes in regional anesthesiology and acute pain management.

Whitwell earned his medical degree at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at Rutgers Health New Jersey University Hospital in Newark, followed by a fellowship in regional anesthesiology and acute pain medicine at UCI Medical Center in Orange, Calif.

Using the latest multimodal analgesic regimens, Whitwell offers interventions to treat pain during the perioperative period, including peripheral nerve catheters, epidural catheters and ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks.
