For expatriate Brits, as well as Pasadenans looking for a prime rib fix but unwilling to trek to Lawry's, this ivy-covered replica of an old English inn is ideal. A series of gently lit, wood-paneled rooms offers a congenial ambience.… Read Full Editorial
I like it very much. by linda l via Insider Pages on 11/21/2007
its a nice place to eat! Price was reasonable, We had an early dinner at this place and it was great - the restaurant was not too crowded. The interior was very nice, the service was good, and the food was excellent. its more than enough…
Another great Pasadena find by anekab via Citysearch on 11/20/2007
If you've ever been to the Tam 'O Shanter in Los Feliz, you'll LOVE the Beckham Grill. The atmosphere is quaintly British, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, and the food regularly excellent. I particularly love the shrimp…
Meat and poultry dishes served in a British hunt-club atmosphere. by Contributor via Citysearch on 12/27/2006
In Short
Dark wood-paneled rooms--their walls plastered with British advertisements and caricatures of 19th-century parliamentarians--are lit by the muted glow of candlestick sconces. The menu features starters like house-chopped…
Ask for well-done! by cfylong via Citysearch on 11/10/2006
Nice and quaint, with nice selection of scotches. Prime rib, the specialty here, comes very rare. I ordered medium and there was maybe a half inch of brown around the edges with juice gushing underneath! What was cooked was good; what…
Great Prime Rib by Gan N. via Judy's Book on 5/28/2006
I used to love going to Lawry's Prime Rib, but now I can't bother to go the distance. They have great prime rib if you're looking to stay in Pasadena. Nice service and good food. And their corkage fee is only $5. :-)
Great Atmosphere, poor food. Like England! by Zak B via Insider Pages on 11/9/2005
Beckham's is a nice upscale place to meet for drinks. It's fun to sit by the fireplace and enjoy a few pints and maybe a game of chess. Service can also be a bit slow. Beckham's has a menu of food and I understand that people go there…
UNIQUE ENGLISH RESTAURANT by kengunnell via Citysearch on 3/9/2005
I have found this restaurant to be very quaint. Lot of great food. I have recommended it to friends for over 25 years. No one has been disappointed. Where else can you have a pint of your favorite along with dinner. A must for all.
Great atmosphere! by webdev23 via Citysearch on 3/9/2005
I immediately loved the Old English decor that adorns this place. The prime rib is quite good and the sides are delicious. I have also tried the duck which was very scrumptous. One of my favourite things is the rather comfy chairs that…

I loved the Beckham Place Restaurant! I went there on the recommendation of a friend and was not dissapointed. My mother and I went there for dinner and ordered a full meal, from appetizers to desserts, and everything was very delicious…

No complaints here. Unmatched happy hour prices, great special dinner prices on Mondays & Tuesdays, and not very many other people, if you like that.
Meat lovers paradise! by katsas via Citysearch on 11/13/2002
This dining experience was good overall, but not for someone who doesn't like meat. Hearty portions are plentiful, but very heavy for someone who's not used this type of meal. There's no trace of soccer star David Beckham, so don't go if…
