I had a really great experience here. The food was really good. Huge portions. Service was very attentive and extremely friendly. I loved the Chinese tea that we were given complimentary on arrival.

Had work function here, and the food was fantastic. I recommend this place for anyone wanting to feel as though they are in down south. Love the shrimps, and catfish.

it is located in an obscure location but it is one of the best Cantonese restaurants in all of San Diego. The Hakka Style tofu is the best I have ever had.

My family and I have been eating at Gen Lai Sen for over 15 years. This restaurant is San Diego's best kept secret. Food is fantastic!!! Good prices for great quality and quanty.
