Tanja Sutton is a certified Orton Gillingham reading specialist and special education teacher with a Masters in Special Education. She has 11+ years of diverse experience teaching K-12 students who may or may not have a special needs diagnoses. She blends various multi-sensory, research-based programs to fit her students’ learning profiles so they can gain confidence in their ability to learn making them more motivated, independent learners. During tutoring sessions, students build skills that underpin success in school and in life including: reading, writing, math, communication, organization, critical thinking, social thinking, effective use of tools, and self-advocacy.
