Stop in for the expansive, all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, or order delivery. Traditional Indian menu ranges from curries to tandoori chicken. Read Full Editorial
uneventful at best. by GWENDOLYN P. via Judy's Book on 12/11/2009
Last time we visited, we were not too happy about the fact that the restaurant was incredibly cheap with giving the normally free nan bread.More expensive for the neighborhood, no parking, uneventful at best.

They're not lying with they said Great India. It is really great food. They used to have flyers with buy one get one free but now they changed owners and it's buy one get half off. As soon as you sit down they bring you free papadum with 4…

I've explored many of the Richmond Indian food restaurants, and this is the one I always come back to. Their food is excellently made and totally affordable. Everything is fresh, especially the papadan and the nan. They cater to your…

I've staked out a lot of Indian restaurants in the Richmond, and this one's my favorite. Cheap prices (rice included in meal), excellent food (the naan is fresh and soft) and the service is friendly. They're careful to inquire about all…
A restaurant that asks you to go fly a kite ... by sramana via Citysearch on 10/1/2005
I ordered at 9pm, waited until 11pm, and then got a call from a Mongolian driver whose English was impossible to understand that he was lost. I then called the restaurant, and the guy started yelling at me. He said, I am going to cancel…

Great India is a cozy restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. Krishna the waiter is so attentive and makes you feel right at home. The service is outstanding and the food is very good. I like the Prawn Masala and their rice is perfect.…

ate a LOT of Indian food in London and the chicken tikka masala at Great India tastes the closest to the food I had in the UK - which I happen to think was delicious. The food is very reasonably priced - the staff is friendly and quick.…

When You Think Great India Try Clay Pot by james42 via Citysearch on 8/22/2002
Not bad Indian food, but not great either. The samosas are good, the curry ok. Portions are tiny, and delivery takes forever.
Clay Pot on Clement is better, although the staff there are a bit rude.
