In Short
A destination for East Coast transplants, this mini-chain is known for its brick-oven baked pizzas. To accentuate the thin, crispy, chewy crusts, pizzas come with less sauce and cheese than typically found on California… Read Full Editorial

This is what great pizzaz is all about. I love the flavor, particularly when it comes to their best selling products. I'm sure you would want it here as well.

Not worth the hype by Kelly L via Insider Pages on 12/3/2008
Everyone I had talked to about this place loved it or hated it. I got the vege pizza, and it was close to gross and the service stunk. Maybe it was a bad night, or maybe they just dont care. I should have just gone with fast food.

Still my favorite pizza place in SOMA.
Terrible, Terrible service by sbourne via Citysearch on 7/9/2008
I've been here five or six times because it's in the neighborhood. Perhaps I don't dress well enough or don't look cool enough or whatever, but the waitstaff is consistently from average to downright terrible. The management's even…
The best pizza! by Phil J via Insider Pages on 4/29/2008
All i can say is that this pizza is really really good. I am really happy with the quality and as well the service. This pizza is addicting and it is really fresh tasting. I tell everyone who likes thin crust pizza to try them out.
Decent Pizza by ssoh11 via Citysearch on 2/16/2008
The pizza was decent...haven't had a craving for it since visiting. Do I plan on going back? Probably not...Dominos is better...and no, I don't think Dominos is all that great.

Tasty by jojoagogo via Citysearch on 11/23/2007
Good pizza and I'm pretty picky. I prefer the plain margurita style, but without the tomatoes that they offer. Nice crust, not too burnt. the fresh basil was great. Just like Napoli!

Amici's practically a stone's throw away from my loft. Not quite "New York" style, but a keeper for those who\r
loves thin crusts, like i do. Garlic and clams -yum yum\r
Excellent pizza, although not the "East Coast" pizza I grew up on by rscha8 via Citysearch on 11/20/2006
Excellent wood-fired pie. I recommend the simplicity of Amici's margherita pizza. Excellent ingredients, solid crust. Finally, after a year of frustrated searching I've found good pizza in SF. The downside? It's overpriced, but since the…

Good pizza, fast delivery by rsak via Citysearch on 10/30/2006
Pretty good pizza, fast delivery. I've had better, but all in all it's good. For some reason I just wasn't a fan of their sausage pizzas. They are quick to deliver, but only if you make a $25 minimum. If you're looking for one pizza and…
Thin Crust Pizza by Maria G via Insider Pages on 10/24/2006
I love thin crust pizza! Amicis makes it taste really good too. It is nice here because the space is not too small that you feel like you have to rush and finish your food when the lunch crowd comes by.
Great for delivery by eminamy via Citysearch on 8/5/2006
Good New York style pizza. Great for delivery, usually within 30 minutes. The menu caters to all types of taste, even offers soy style cheese. Non pizza items are quite tasty too. I would recommend the spinach salad with bacon and pine…
East Coast pizza it is!!! by newjerseydiva via Citysearch on 7/12/2006
In town from the East Coast, I was thrilled by Amici's!!! Thin crust and made as I requested, you'll want to eat more than your hungry for...it's that good! Only drawback...delivery minimum of $25! :(
An Attempt at New Haven Pizza by Avery G. via Judy's Book on 4/29/2006
Calling Amici's an "East Coast Pizzeria" is a complete misnomer, as there are two styles of pizza typically found on the East Coast. First off, you have New York pizza, typified by a thin crust that is foldable which is topped with a rich…
