Michelle Horton Therapy (MA, MFTI)

I provide supportive and compassionate therapy to adults, young adults, adolescents, couples and families. I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern with a private practice in San Francisco.

A few of my areas of focus include working with entrepreneurs, founders and those in the start-up and technology industries of the Bay Area, life transitions such as moving, changing jobs, marriage, beginning parenthood, leaving a relationship, and couple and family support. I can help individuals that may be struggling with depression, anxiety, stress management, cross-cultural issues or self-esteem. As an ally I support the LGBT community and their loved ones.

As an open and non-judgmental therapist, I work to foster a safe and accepting environment where we can work together to meet your goals. I want to collaborate with you to find how to be the best version of your own self and achieve healthy relationships in your life. My approach is genuine, warm, supportive and collaborative.

In addition to the weekday and evening hours, I offer appointments on Saturdays. My office is located in San Francisco in the Hayes Valley neighborhood.

I believe that everyone should have access to therapy and mental health services regardless of his or her financial or life circumstances. To address this in my practice, I offer a sliding scale fee that is open to anyone. I accept payment via cash, check or credit card. I am employed and supervised by Dr. Rachel Robbins PsyD.
