The Scene
High-tech hip abounds as minimalist Asian decor fuses with modern artistic touches. A spiral neon tapestry of lights and large plasma TV displaying nature scenes hang over the sushi bar, while electronic music at a… Read Full Editorial
Best Sushi in town by brooke_s_1218 via Citysearch on 7/18/2008
EXCELLENT Sashimi! The place is casual (we sat at the sushi bar), unpretentious and the price was right. Service was good as well. We will be back for the Hamachi, Sake, Albacore, Tuna, and Waloo Sashimi. Wonderful!

Good Sushi. Friendly Staff. Nice atmosphere. Yum. by Corrix A via Insider Pages on 7/21/2007
I had a really nice dinner here. Its a lively spot. My boyfriend and I got to chat with the new owner, who is working hard to raise the bar for this little Marina restaurant. \r

Dinner was great, free edamame, a well rounded selection…
Have 45 minutes to waste? by Rita F via Insider Pages on 6/20/2007
With only 3 people at the Sushi Bar at 7:00pm and 6 people in the main dining room, I placed my order at 7:11 only to receive it 45 minutes later! Not only was the hostess who took my order rude, she never once felt it necessary to…
Avoid at lunch hour by janehart21 via Citysearch on 6/6/2007
When I visited San Francisco the one thing I told my boyfriend I wanted was good sushi. Now, being from Chicago we have some tasty sushi here, but I thought San Francisco would be even better. I have a feeling I'm right, but it was not…
Good sushi, wonderful service, above-and-beyond effort from staff by ginboy via Citysearch on 2/5/2007
Unlike other reviewers, I experienced fantastic service on my visit. My hotel (Ritz Carlton) concierge TOTALLY screwed up the reservation, booking my party in to the restaurant 10 minutes before they stop serving food, even though the…
Great Food, Not so great service by robyn74 via Citysearch on 11/13/2006
Every time I go here, I have some sort of issue. On our first visit, we made a reservation then arrived on time, only to stand in the entryway for 15 minutes. We were actually debating leaving when a gentlemen seated us without even an…
Good sushi, decent service, great atmosphere by dmenkes via Citysearch on 11/4/2006
The lighting is warm, dim, and inviting. The fish is pretty good; their roll selection is decent. Their cooked meals are good too. This is one of the most crowded restaurants on Chestnut St on a Saturday night; reservations are suggested.…
Very Romantic With Tasty rolls by wickscrub via Citysearch on 9/23/2006
My girlfriend and i decided to go out for sushi and enjoying trying all of the different sushi spots in town, but we had great time at this restaurant. The Rolls were Delicious! I am not one to leave and rolls behind but they were great…
fun place by sammymc via Citysearch on 9/20/2006
I came here with a large group and definitely had a good time. They had a great sake menu. The rolls were slightly above average, but the atmosphere, service and sake made up for a great dining experience.
Creative rolls by audreyjl via Citysearch on 9/18/2006
I'd heard good things about Nakedfish and finally got to try it. I'm not sure that it completely lived up the the expectations, but it was very good. We tried a few spicy tuna creations and liked every one of them. Their Sake menu was…

Expensive, but if you like creative and exotic sushi in a trendy setting this place is the best there is!
If you like designer sushi by Angie S via Insider Pages on 7/28/2006
Naked Fish has managed to "dress" up sushi rolls in very creative ways by frying it, baking is, and covering it was lots of sauces. Ok, I admit the Firecracker Roll is pretty amazing, but seriously do you really need to reinvent the wheel…
Expensive sushi in a trendy spot by ieatallthetime via Citysearch on 7/28/2006
This place has good sushi, don't get me wrong. The roll selection isn't as varied as I would like, but the food is solid. What isn't solid is: 1) the price of the rolls - ridiculous for the taste; 2) music - usually the techno is bumping…
Understaffed?? by trantrong via Citysearch on 6/27/2006
The sushi here was decent, not bad, but not great either, just average. I think they are understaffed though, it took about 15 minutes before our order was taken. After our order was taken, it took another 20-25 mintues before our dishes…

Tremendous. by dlaugh via Citysearch on 2/15/2006
I love sushi, and found the fish here very good. The rolls are creative, too. I've always found the service very courteous and friendly. We're regulars, and expect to continue to be!
Try the Sake Sampler. by jamberg via Citysearch on 7/9/2005

Fresh Hawaiian fish by snash411 via Citysearch on 5/9/2005
we always like Naked fish's creative rolls and now they are serving Hawaiian only fish w/ their own specail sauce. The waitress recommended us not to use soy sauce and it was unbelievable! I would suggest you try their Aloha sampler,…
