B. Sam Tabibian, MD, QME, is a rehabilitation physician who is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He currently sees patients at Physical Medicine Institute, an interventional orthopedics and physical medicine practice in Sherman Oaks, California.
Dr. Tabibian completed his residency at the University of California at Los Angeles. At Physical Medicine Institute, he provides nonsurgical treatment of back and neck injuries, elbow and knee pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, spine care, neuropathy, electrodiagnostic consultations, and the treatment of complex workers’ comp cases and work-related injuries. He offers a wide range of innovative treatments, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and interventional orthopedics.
If surgery is necessary, Dr. Tabibian works with his patients and their surgeons before and after surgery. As the primary treating physician, he coordinates care between other specialists and health care professionals, including surgeons and therapists.
