Inspires patient confidence and safety by activevoice on 5/30/2022 Competent - easefully, unselfconsciously brilliant. I came here for a second opinion. My continuing education-oriented, client-education-oriented holistic gnatho-ortho-based dentist retired over a year ago. I'm a brush-when-I eat-type of person. Good health, nutritional nut. Finding a replacement dentist was difficult. The holistic dentist I tried early this year finished the exam then advised me of some alarming - shocking -news; drew a dire picture of my immediate future, advocating an oral surgeon asap and a root planing - a surprise diagnostic, out of the blue, unprepared for such a turn in my life. I had no symptoms to indicate I was in such a state. Shortly afterward, a local holistic therapist, who had been deep in dentistry before her career transformation, referred me to Timber Dental Care after her experience with her daughter. First off, he has won awards to cover a wall. The staff was stellar, and Dr Ionescu - she said "a genuinely goodhearted human being" - answered all her probing dental-detail-type questions with ease; showed interest, compassion, care, perfection in his procedures - she watched the implant procedure and recognized a caring genius at work. I felt I could give it a try. I was swept off my feet, so to speak, by the staff - they are extensions of his own care and consideration and intelligent awareness. A 45 minute drive is nothing when compared to the amazing wealth of information, education, and reassurance I received from the hygienist and the good Dr. He is easefully confident, and broad-minded, encyclopedic beyond dentistry. My situation is NOT a dire one at all! He explained how an error in judgment can be formulated, based on certain evidence, and his experience with bone (implants) gave him a better view of my situation. I'm over the moon grateful to have been led to this practise!!
