Dawn Scott was born in Orlando, FL. She attended Orange County Public Schools and graduated with honors from Oak Ridge High School. She attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1999. After graduating Dawn returned to Orlando and worked as a nurse at Florida Hospital and then decided to become a traveling nurse which afforded her the opportunity to travel to many states and expand her nursing experience.
