Aymara Fernandez De La Vara, MD

Aymara Fernandez De La Vara, M.D., is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Baptist Health Primary Care | FIU. She has more than 10 years of experience providing comprehensive primary care. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, obesity medicine and geriatrics.   In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Fernandez De La Vara serves as an assistant professor of internal medicine and teaches third-year medical students in the Internal Medicine Clerkship program at FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. Dr. Fernandez De La Vara is fluent in English and Spanish.
