Dr Maria Rueda-Larais the Medical Director of Psycho-Oncologyat University of Miami/Sylvester, South Florida's only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. She specializes in the co-morbidity and psychiatric manifestations of cancer. At UM, she leads thetraining of medical students,residents,fellows, as well aspsychology practicum studentsin the field of psycho-oncology. Dr Maria Rueda-Lara is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami (UM) Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatrywith an added qualification in the Subspecialty ofConsultation-Liaison.
