Museum Tours

Dive deeper into the highlights of our collections and exhibitions with a “Highlight Tour”, offered on Sundays at 1:00 pm. These docent-led tours are free with paid gallery admission. We also offer UA tours for students.

Adult Workshops and Art Classes

Art education is a lifelong journey, and we offer a variety of engaging opportunities for adults to enjoy, including art classes in Orlando, gallery talks, lectures, and studio programs.

Yoga in the Galleries

Enjoy an evening of both art and movement with our Orlando Yoga in the Galleries series. Each class begins with a 30-minute highlight tour of current exhibitions and is followed by a yoga practice led by College Park Yoga.

Sketching in the Galleries

Get inspired by the artwork in the museum! Drawing and sketching supplies are available for artists of all ages. No pre-registration is required, simply drop in on select Saturdays from 12-2 pm. Free with paid gallery admission.

Youth and Family Programs

Bring the whole family and enjoy a variety of child-friendly art programs including Art Adventures, Art in the Afternoon, Family Highlight Tours, and Stroller Tours.

Orlando Summer Camps

Summer Art Camp welcomes students entering grades 1 - 12 and all experience levels with immersive art-making experiences that place value on the process of creative expression. Register for 1 - 11 weeks, with different themes each week.

School Field Trips

The Orlando Museum of Art presents cross-curricular field trips to engage students using works of art ranging from original picture book illustrations to contemporary and traditional works!

Orlando Resource Center

In partnership with the University of Central Florida, the Orlando Museum of Art is pleased to provide educational resources for educators, students, and families at The Resource Center (TRC). UCF students have free use of TRC. Open Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm; Saturday by appointment.

Professional Development Workshops

These workshops are designed to help teachers make meaningful interdisciplinary classroom connections with works of art and learn innovative teaching strategies to bring back to the classroom. Workshops include a private gallery tour with instruction on how to teach original works of art, hands-on studio art activities, and more.

Facility Rentals

Weddings, corporate events, and private events can all be hosted in the beautiful and functional spaces in the museum. We offer facilities for all events, from birthday parties and small board meetings to large conferences and artsy weddings.

Street parking is available outside of the museum as well as a free parking lot in front of the museum.

We recommend planning on about two hours to thoroughly enjoy and reflect upon each piece of art.

Due to the fragile nature of many of our exhibitions, no pets are allowed in the museum. Registered service animals are, of course, welcome.

Yes you can! The donations of many generous individuals, through direct gifts or bequests, have contributed to the enhancement of the Orlando Museum of Art’s permanent collection for 100 years! Please follow the guidelines provided below in considering donating an artwork to the museum. Deliveries of artwork in person, by mail, or shipper will not be accepted without prior approval of a proposal sent to our curatorial department by email or mail. Proposals by email Provide a Letter of Intent for your gift which contains the following: your full contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email) the artist’s name, the title of the work, year, edition info (for prints), medium, and dimensions of the work, whether it is framed or unframed; whether this is a future gift (such as by bequest) or direct gift; any information on the artist (biography, curriculum vitae, artist’s statement), as well as any information on purchase and past ownership (provenance); digital images of the work of art (jpeg, tiff, pdf, etc.) of at least 72 dpi that shows the work clearly and in full.
