Victor Corrigan, MD

Dr. Victor E. Corrigan received his undergraduate degree with summa cum laude honors from the University of Georgia. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, an honors medical society. He completed his internship,residency and fellowship in cardiology at Emory University Hospital. In 1989, Dr. Corrigan joined the one of the three legacy cardiology practices that later merged to formPiedmont Heart Institute. He is a former president of the Georgia chapter of the American College of Cardiology and Medical Director of the American Heart Association for Metro Atlanta. Dr. Corrigan is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He was formerly the medical director of the heart transplant team and director of the Coronary Care Unit at Saint Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta. He is actively involved in multiple medical device studies and pharmaceutical clinical studies.
