Alexander Gonzalez-Jacobo, DO

Dr. Gonzalez-Jacobo is a fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive and Bariatric surgeon. Originally from Miami, he attended University of South Florida Honors College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in Biomedical Sciences. He then earned his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Gonzalez-Jacobo completed his General Surgery residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, NY. He continued his surgical training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he completed a Fellowship in Bariatric and Minimally Invasive surgery. He specializes and is experienced in Bariatric, Anti-reflux, Gastric, and Esophageal surgeries as well as other areas of General surgery.
