Wood piled outside isn't just for decoration. The wood becomes fuel that fires the smokers to turn pork shoulders, ribs and beef brisket into the basics of barbecue. Classic Southern fare beyond barbecue is consistently good in this… Read Full Editorial
Great Atmosphere by Mr770 via Citysearch on 9/15/2010
From the moment you park the experience begins with the nice decorative landscaping. Being that I have deep roots in the south and great BBQ, I can say the meat is fairly nice for an establishment that has so many customers. I personally…
It's ok...but there's much better out there by stars0724 via Citysearch on 5/31/2010
If you go here thinking you're going to get the best BBQ in town, that's not going to happen - you're better off going to a small family owned establishment (there are many all over Atlanta). I got a BBQ chicken sandwich here and while I…
Not quite BBQ by Naomi83 via Citysearch on 5/14/2010
I consider Jim N Nicks more of a burger joint with a TX flair that happens to have BBQ on the menu. They do have good drink specials, and the burger's are good, but when it comes to good smokey BBQ this is not really my first, second, or…
Can you say overpriced by CSMobileUser via Citysearch on 3/19/2009
I considered myself a self proclaimed authority on BBQ. The food is good. But way over priced. Go to Harolds or Fox Bros. And great the real thing without getting ripped off
Best BBQ in Atlanta by kristyreece via Citysearch on 8/5/2008
My boyfriend and I went in search of good BBQ and found it at Jim 'N Nicks. The experience started from the moment we parked in front of the log pile. The air was full with notes of Blues music and the mouth-watering aroma of smoking…

Jim and Nicks is a good place to grab a bite of BBQ. The restaurant is nicely appointed and the staff is nice. There are cheaper BBQ places, but the atmosphere is good.
Jim & Nicks by Danielle H via Insider Pages on 7/17/2008
This place has some of the best bbq I have ever eaten. Their cheesy muffins are delicious and they have the biggest baked potatoes I have ever seen. The drive thru is great because my family picks up a family meal from here for dinner…
Excellent service -- and really good food too! by todd1001 via Citysearch on 5/29/2008
We have been this place 5 times in the past 5 weekends and have yet to be dissapointed. The food is great. Just your usual BBQ menu - with great burgers too. They have drink specials that are $6 - including a handmade margaritta that is…

Based out of Alabama, Jim & Nicks has great food and service. They also have a drive - thru, which you don't see in most other bbq restaurants. You can also call ahead to order for a large party and they will bring your food out to you.
OK Restaurant by S S via Insider Pages on 1/26/2008
They have good cornbread muffins. And the appetizers are OK. The ribs aren't that good. Also, it could be a little cleaner in the store. They had good service and the staff is friendly.
