When you find the perfect breakfast eatery, you certainly never forget it. For locals and tourists visiting Waikiki, that place is Eggs ‘N Things, an establishment that has served the “Best Breakfast in Hawaii” for over 30 years. Under the guidance of Jerry and Jan Fukunaga, a couple that believes in the importance of quality food with fresh ingredients and a dining atmosphere that treats everyone like family, Eggs ‘N Things has flourished into a must-stop destination during extended visit to Waikiki. Like other highly regarded breakfast spots, the wait for Eggs ‘N Things is long, but well worth it. Guests are seated by a waiter or waitress in traditional Aloha tropical wear and offered a jaw-dropping selection of classic breakfast fare. Along with daily specials, Eggs ‘N Things offers platters of meat and eggs and omelets, all of which are served with their famous buttermilk pancakes, rice, and pancakes. Guests can order Hawaii’s best pancakes on their own with mouthwatering toppings, such as strawberry, banana, or blueberry whip cream, pineapples, coconuts, macadamia nuts, and chocolate chips! Enjoy these same amazing ingredients with a waffle or a crepe, if you prefer. Although Eggs ‘N Things specializes in breakfast and brunch, the restaurant also serves dinner dishes with great flourish, offering entrées such as Calamari Steak, Chicken Fried Steak, and Paniolo Loco Moco, a Waikiki classic dish. Eggs ‘N Thing takes great pride in being a family restaurant, so bring the whole Ohana along to Waikiki’s favorite restaurant and enjoy irresistibly good platters of hearty breakfast. The lines are always long at this Waikiki restaurant. For years it was known for its breakfasts and its odd hours (11 p.m.-2 p.m.), but when it moved to this location, the hours became more prosaic; the menu is still limited to breakfast… Read Full Editorial

My Review by redst9r via Citysearch on 10/5/2016

So we have been wanting to try this place. From our hotel it was only a 10 minute walk, which isn't bad at all. It's a Wednesday and it's 8am, little did we know that there's a very very long wait. We're standing in line and I'm looking…

This place is RUDE! by Shores via Citysearch on 9/8/2011

There is a hostess with dreadlocks and he wears it in a bun and he is extremely rude! We waited an hour and a half and finally got our table. My husband was in the restroom and the hostess said "you can't eat alone in here". I said my…

Worth the wait! by Pia M via Insider Pages on 1/26/2010

We arrived mid-morning and had to wait for about 1/2 hour. My husband was a little disappointed in his omelet - he prefers the ingredients mixed in rather than just folded inside. But he still liked it. The potatoes were especially…

Yummy eggs! by Ireallydolovegirlythings via Citysearch on 1/23/2010

This is my idea of a very reasonably priced breakfast or brunch. The eggs were really tasty and a real treat! I however don't anticipate on going back anytime soon because it's located in Waikiki and let's face it, the only thing Waikiki…

crepes delight by susan b. via Judy's Book on 11/2/2009

What a surprise to find this spot in heaven. The crepes were done to perfection. My only regret is that I did not buy the bags of pancake mix. This is a very cut, fun environment. The coffee also very good. So, how do I get the…

Best Restaurant to be Temporarily Closed by sjrees via Citysearch on 11/14/2008

As of November 14, 2008 Eggs and Thing's is closed down as they are in the process of moving. I am told it will reopen within a month at a new location.

adapt to the atmosphere, enjoy the food by stg2lewis via Citysearch on 12/31/2007

This place has one of the best breakfasts in Waikiki. The staff knows this and can be short at times. Don't let it bother you, just tell them what you want and they will get it. Portions are more than enough and prices are reasonable for…

Best Grub Station Ever by travel2eat via Citysearch on 3/13/2007

We have been eating at Eggs n Things since 1987 at their old location. Used to live in HI, now come to vacation. Eggs n Things is always at the top of our dreamy vacation list of things to do. The chocolate chip pancakes with coconut…

Go with a good attitude by fettigtraveler via Citysearch on 5/8/2006

many complain that the wait is to long, first thing to learn is that nobody in Hawaii should be in a hurry, I recommend getting there early. Huge omelets and great crepes. Good place to go with the family or with a few friends. I…

Great for a late night breakfast! by Maureen B. via Judy's Book on 3/22/2006

Eggs n' Things opens at 11pm, and closes at 2pm, making it a great place to grab breakfast in the middle of the night. This is especially great for those of us who work rotating shifts! The potatoes are awesome! And they have lots of great…

Good Pancake! by Pisith K. via Judy's Book on 10/19/2005

Eggs n' Things was voted no.1 restaurant to visit in an Internet poll in Japan. You can also thier restaurant's name in many many japanese tourist guide books throughout Waikiki. It's always crownded by tourists. people have to wait…

WAAAAAY OVERRATED by cats_eye via Citysearch on 7/26/2004

this place swarms with tourists, the wait is insane and the hostesses at the front do NOT belong in hawaii with their nasty attitude. if the food is great, i can tolerate the wait and bad service but it's NOT. i went there hungry and by…

A Favorite of Tourist's & Kamaaina's by twix5799 via Citysearch on 5/19/2004

There's always a line to this place. So, that might be a huge hint that the food must be pretty good. This place opens from 11:00 pm to 2:00 pm to catch the night clubbers on there way home and the early rising tourist before they go on…
