Eateries are scarce in Waimea, which partly accounts for this restaurant's popularity. The rest can be attributed to the solid food, friendly service and distinctive setting, within the restored Ako General Store building. A nice feature… Read Full Editorial

Good Steaks by Mom K via Insider Pages on 11/2/2008

We ate here for lunch and enjoyed the paniolo (cowboy) cuisine. The steak was very good, as was the fish and chips. We ate outside and enjoyed the decor both inside and out.
