Hi, my name is Dan De Pirro and my company is American Deck Care & Home Remodeling. We started the company in 1989 for the sole purpose of cleaning and treating exterior wood decks, fences, siding and furniture (a unique niche at the time) but it became evident that our customers were interested in having us provide other services around the home.

Because I have back round and education in Construction Technology and Architecture studying at Southern Illinois University and Chicago Circle Campus the transition to building and remodeling was both obvious and natural. We do deck refinishing which entails power washing, re-staining, etc. We do exterior/interior painting. We do full carpentry. We also do small electrical and small plumbing jobs.

I communicate well with the customers. I make sure that the customers are happy when the job is finished.

DECK RESTORATION AND REFINISHING

We're neat and complete and conscious of protecting adjacent surfaces and backyard foliage in the process. We can do any carpentry repairs to your deck or any part of your home. We can design and build your dream deck.We are well versed with working with wood, composite or plastic decking materials. And since we been doing this since 1989 we could help you with the pro's and con's of the different materials and deck designs.

POWER WASHING OF ANY KIND

We also POWER WASH brick, wood, vinyl, and aluminum home exteriors. Power washing of cement walks, driveways, and landscape walls are also a big portion of our work.

PAINTING OF ANY KIND

We are meticulous with our interior and exterior painting jobs. Before we even touch a brush (if need be) wood replacement, drywall repairs, scraping, caulking etc. are addressed. From there we'll paint all surfaces with quality products from Behr, Sherwinn-Williams or the customers personal preferences.

CARPENTRY

We can do all forms of carpentry from structural framing to fine trim from door/window replacement to roof repairs we've got you covered.

We offer electrical services and additions to the home such as: New circuits. New fans and fixture installed. Communication and home theater wiring. Repairs. Etc. All code compliant and safe. Installation of ice damming coils (to prevent water backing up under roof shingles and into house) have been popular recently.

PLUMBING

We can do all plumbing jobs at your home that you might have. Hook up new toilets or sinks. Change out water heaters. Run new water, sewer or venting lines. Rodding, scoping and repairs to existing lines.

Gutter cleaning and holiday or special event lighting.
