Zion United Church Of Christ

We are a faith community of the United Church of Christ. Our goal is to offer many opportunities for Christian enrichment. The faith community of Zion Church welcomes you to walk with us in our congregational journey of faith and, in so doing, continue your own individual journey in the company of caring people who are also journeying. We believe it is not our task or our right to specify exactly what you should believe, excepting our acknowledgment of the supremacy of God and Christ as the head of the church, but rather to enable you to learn and grow in ways that resonate with the presence of the Spirit in your own life. We believe that each faith journey is unique, just as our individual fingerprints are unique. We affirm your close and immediate connection to God and offer our love and encouragement as you consider and celebrate that connection. We seek to serve God and share the love of Christ with all people and welcome you to join us or to learn about our sister churches in the Illinois Valley area. If our own church community is not what you are seeking, we will try to help you find a church that is.
