Springfield KOA Journey

This KOA offers a country setting, a variety of cabins, and cable TV. We enjoy the quiet the country has to offer. We are a smaller park but big on fun! Illinois' capital forms the heart of Abraham Lincoln country. Visitors can tour  the 16th president's home, law offices and Old State Capitol where he served in the legislature. View the Lincoln Library and Museum. Pay your respects at  Lincoln's Tomb. Visit the New Salem State Historic Site. Here, costumed guides recreate the 1830s town where the future president lived and worked. Southeast of the city, this KOA offers a quiet country setting with covered Tent Sites, level Pull-Thru RV Sites and Deluxe Cabins. Head to Lake Springfield for boating and fishing. Nostalgia buffs: Don't leave without getting your kicks on Route 66, where you'll find a museum, shops, motorcycle races, antique car rallies and  a drive-in diner.
