This move involved a mix of older furniture and newer items. I was especially worried about a fragile shelf that doesn’t travel well. The movers wrapped it fully and placed it upright in the truck. They also made sure nothing heavy leaned against it.

There was a large cabinet that I thought might be a problem. Instead of forcing it through the hallway, they stopped, looked at the space, and adjusted how they carried it. That small pause probably saved the piece from damage. At the new place, they didn’t unload everything at once. They brought items room by room and asked when something wasn’t clear. That helped a lot when I started unpacking.
