FWAI Architects is a multi-disciplined firm providing architectural, planning, interior design and historic restoration services to both public and private clients in Springfield IL. With a concern for the client's needs and compatibility with the built environment, our design philosophy is to provide clients with quality architectural planning, design and construction services to ensure that our projects are functional, economically feasible and aesthetically pleasing.<br><br>The firm was established in 1976 as Carl Fischer Associates. Since that time, it has grown steadily to its present staff of 20. <br><br>FWAI projects have ranged from the interior design of a 500 SF jewelry store to the 480,000 SF Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center located in Springfield, Illinois. This diversity of project types and scale has enabled our staff to gain experience to accept the challenge of multiple projects and execute them in an equally professional manner.
