Marc A. Stees, MD, FAAD

Marc Stees, MD, provides care with the Springfield Clinic's Dermatology Department and sees patients at Springfield Clinic Main Campus West.Dr. Stees earned his medical degree and completed both an internal medicine and dermatology residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He completed a micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics in Madison. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, Dr. Stees provided dermatology care in north central Illinois for 20 years.Dr. Stees' love for helping people and his interest in science is what drew him to a career in medicine. "The one thing I love about medicine is you are always on the same side as the patient," Dr. Stees says. "You are their advocate."As a Mohs surgeon, Dr. Stees sees patients diagnosed with non-melanoma skin cancer. In his free time, Dr. Stees enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a huge Illini fan.
