Rajan Kochar, MD, MPH

Dr. Kochar provides comprehensive care in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology. This includes high-quality colon cancer screening and state-of-the-art treatment for GERD/Barrett's esophagus, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease and pancreatobiliary disease. His special interest lies in the field of advanced endoscopy and pancreatobiliary endoscopy. He routinely performs advanced endoscopic procedures such as radiofrequency ablation of Barrett's esophagus, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and fine needle aspiration (FNA), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) of large gastric, duodenal and colonic polyps. He is the director of the Center for Advanced Endoscopy (CAE) at Springfield Clinic.
