PUBLIC WARNING !!!! by Daniel Boehme on 1/31/2025 Dr. Amir Oduche took me off a medication that was effectively managing my nerve pain and assured me that a new combination would work better. I expressed my concerns, explaining that my previous medication allowed me to function, but she insisted I trust the process and follow up if the new regimen didn’t work. She replaced my previous medication with duloxetine in the morning and gabapentin throughout the day. However, my body does not respond to gabapentin, which is a well-documented issue for many people. As a result, I was left in excruciating pain for most of the day and night. When I followed up as instructed, instead of adjusting my treatment or switching me back to what was working, her office told me my only option was to be referred to pain management—a process that often takes weeks to get an appointment. This was not the "trial and error" process she promised. Once her new medication choice failed, she abandoned any effort to find a solution and left me to suffer. If you are on a medication that works for you, do not trust her to make changes in your best interest. I would not recommend her office to anyone.
