In 1946 Don Hall was a young Fort Wayne man with a background in the meat business, forty acres of swamp land, and a dream. The land was south of Fort Wayne on Bluffton Road. His dream was a Drive-In Restaurant on that land. The day after Thanksgiving that year, the dream became a reality as he opened the first Halls establishment, Halls Original Drive-In, which would eventually become one of the most unique restaurant groups in the country. As each new restaurant opened with its own flair and personality, there remained several connecting principles for quality, service and value he demanded of them all. It is our dedicated commitment to these principles, and the loyal patronage of all those who notice the difference that ensure Don Halls Restaurants continued success and growth. Thanks to a dream on that cold November day in 1946 when it all began, weve been serving it hot for 75 years! Today, that same foundation in principles have lead to 10 Local Restaurant Brands in Greater Fort Wayne, IN area.
