Old World Timber

Old World Timber has a network of suppliers who specialize in the deconstruction of old barns and structures. Our suppliers diligently remove siding, timbers, and other usable materials and deliver them to our facility to be redeemed and repurposed. Beyond the material we work with, we partner with our network of organizations and ministries to connect with men and women coming out of difficult backgrounds and circumstances who need a second chance. Our skilled craftsmen spend countless hours washing, metal detecting, milling, putting, sanding, and finishing our products to bring them back to life. In the same way, every day we are working to break the stereotypes of incarceration and addiction. We remember that we are all broken and in need of a community that believes in who we are and who we can become. We love seeing the designs created from our wood that transform homes, offices, and the spaces people live in with warmth and a story behind the material they’re built with. Even more so, we are inspired to see our coworkers find redemption and purpose in their work and lives. We desire to be a small but important part in reshaping how society thinks about incarceration, addiction, the environment, employment, stereotypes, interior design, and the value of work… one stick of wood at a time.
