Wesley J. Penn, MD

A native of Baton Rouge, Dr. Wesley J. Penn attended Our Lady of the Lake College where he earned two degrees-a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Human Medicine. He decided to continue in the field of medicine by attending LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, receiving his M.D. in 2013. He then returned to Baton Rouge to complete an Internal Medicine Residency at LSU Health Sciences Center before joining The Baton Rouge Clinic in the summer of 2016.

Dr. Wesley Penn is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians, and he is currently licensed in the state of Louisiana.
Before becoming a physician, Dr. Penn worked for several years as a graphic designer and journalist covering LSU sports. He is a die-hard fan of the LSU Tigers, the New Orleans Saints, and the Chicago Cubs. He has two girls, Violet (3) and Avary (1). In his free time, he enjoys golf, tennis, and spending time with his family.
