T. Richard Lieux Jr., MD

A New Roads, Louisiana native, Dr. T. Richard Lieux became an LSU Tiger, having graduated from the university in 1984. Continuing with LSU, he earned his M.D. in 1989 from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans before moving to Galveston, TX to attend the University of Texas Medical Branch where he interned and performed his medical residency from 1990-92 and serving as Chief Resident from 1992-93.

Dr. Lieux joined The Baton Rouge Clinic in 1993 and served on the Clinic's Executive Committee and as President and Chairman of the Board during his more than 20 years of medical practice. Dr. Lieux holds certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine, the National Board of Echocardiography, and is Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Louisiana and is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American College of Physicians.
