Maureen E. Jones, MD

Dr. Maureen E. Jones has been a member of The Baton Rouge Clinic since 2001, having joined our family of physicians following the completion of her medical education and residency. A graduate of LSU, she earned her M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and performed her residency in Internal Medicine at LSU's Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge. She is the recipient of the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation as presented by the American Medical Women's Association and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Jones is board certified in Internal Medicine and licensed in the state of Louisiana. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Louisiana State Medical Society.

She is the former Chief of Internal Medicine at Baton Rouge General Medical Center and is the recipient of the Louisiana Medicare Quality Improvement Organization "Physician Quality" award.
