Vincent V. Tumminello, Jr., MD

Dr. Tumminello earned his B.S. from LSU in 1980 and his M.D., also from LSU, in 1985. Leaving his home state briefly to complete his medical residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he served as Chief Medical Resident and Instructor of Medicine from 1988-89, he then returned to Louisiana to begin his practice with The Baton Rouge Clinic. He served as President of the Board of The Baton Rouge Clinic from 2005-07.

Dr. Tumminello was the Founder of the Alabama Chief Residents Society, is a member of the East Baton Rouge Parish Medical Society, is a member of the American Medical Association, and serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine. At The Baton Rouge Clinic, he is an internal medicine, primary care physician.

He combines his love of sports, youth, and medicine in his service as Team Physician for Catholic High School in Baton Rouge.
