William B. Benton, MD

Dr. William Benton obtained his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi before heading down to New Orleans for Medical School. After earning his M.D. in 2013 from the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Dr. Benton traveled northeast to Birmingham, Alabama. He performed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, serving as Chief Medical Resident from 2016-17. In August of 2017, Dr. Benton joined the Baton Rouge Clinic Internal Medicine family of physicians.

Dr. Benton is a member of the American College of Physicians and is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He is currently licensed in the state of Louisiana, and accepting new patients.
